Cartoons!

Complete animated show bibles written by me, conceived with and designed by Jesse LeDoux

WACK MAGIC

Developed for Cartoon Network, Wack Magic is a buddy comedy / road adventure across a desert landscape, under the influence of the super-weird supernatural.

Or, as I contemporaneously wrote: An armadillo who explodes into desserts and a cat with a taco head trek across the American Southwest to chase down the swan-riding pixie who cursed them both. Along the way, they’re pursued by a sinister pastry chef’s trio of henchfiends and uncover even stranger strangers.

THE DOUGLAS FURS

Developed for Disney TV Animation, The Douglas Furs concerns a close-knit village of classically anthropomorphized animals dealing with such laugh-a-minute topics as civic bureaucracy and getting a fish stuck on your hand.

As a logline once read: The Douglas Furs is an original cartoon series about a community of animals living together in Douglas, an otherwise unpopulated corner of the deep forest Pacific NW. Though they hold down jobs, use complex machinery, and return their library books late, they still remain animals. It’s like William Shakespeare said, “A bear will always be a bear, even if he’s wearing overalls.”

BONUS CONTENT: HERE COME THE FALL-OUTS

A proposed opening credits sequence / sizzle reel for a sadly never realized / fully abandoned cartoon (extremely) loosely based on Seattle's The Fall-Outs.

Script by me. Music by The Fall-Outs. Animation, direction, design, and everything else by Jo Claxton.
